THIS AFTERNOON ALL CLOCKS WENT WRONG (II) His watch showed two this afternoon, but still nobody came for relief, the time they had arranged was soon... The hours were stolen by a thief. Although he rushed he missed the bus, he took the next, but traffic was slow. He hoped she would not make a fuss; he bought a rose his love to show. A shock, when checking time again, the tree hands had completely stopped. The thought of missing her brought pain, his love the time-thief would have robbed.
